Lurleen B. Wallace Community College is in the process of updating its strategic long-range plan and is seeking participation and feedback from members of the surrounding communities.
“We have already solicited input from students, faculty and staff to help define a comprehensive vision for the future of the College,” Larry Jones, director of institutional effectiveness and quality, said of the process.
Now the college is reaching out to the community, asking residents to complete a brief online survey.
“We need participation from ” Jones said. “Those willing to help are asked to share what they feel makes LBWCC successful and to provide ideas for improvements, needs, expectations and priorities for coming years. This information will help the institution establish strategic aims, objectives, and plans for the future.”
“Only through the cooperation of the community, as a whole, can LBWCC become the institution it aspires to be. This will be an opportunity to shape the future of the college and impact its effort to advance educational and workforce opportunities within the College’s service area and beyond.”
Survey responses are totally anonymous, and honest feedback is requested, he said. Click here to access the survey.
“People need to be honest in what they tell us so that we can obtain a clear understanding of the voice of the communities we serve.”
The survey will be accessible the entire month of March and can be accessed through LBW’s website at lbwcc.edu. For more information, contact Jones at 334-881-2280.
