DUI wreck among cases on March docket

An Andalusia area man charged with chemically endangering a child and an Enterprise man facing DUI charges related to a traffic accident are among the cases set for Judge Ashley McKathan’s docket this month.
Robert Antoine Ainsworth is facing charges of chemical endangerment of a child, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after his home in a trailer park just outside Andalusia was searched by authorities in 2010 during a child welfare check.
Ainsworth, along with Donna Lasha Walker, was arrested after authorities found a “marijuana cigar,” as well as a partially burned “marijuana cigarette” in the home.
Kenyatta Kiwan Hudson, of Enterprise, is also scheduled to appear before McKathan on charges of driving under the influence, assault and reckless endangerment stemming from a wreck in Opp in August of 2012.
Hudson was allegedly intoxicated when he ran a red light at a high rate of speed on U.S. Hwy. 84, striking two vehicles traveling north on U.S. Hwy. 331.
As a result of the accident, two people, including a juvenile, were airlifted to local hospitals with serious injuries.
Other criminal cases on McKathan’s docket for the week of March 17 include:

• Danny Ray Riley for sexual abuse of a child under 12 and sodomy I;
• Deanna Nicole Hancock for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Travis Wayne Hancock for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Janerious Chase Bozeman for theft of property II;
• Clinton Allen Watson for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and warrant of discharge of liability;
• Olan Michael McGee for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance;
• Charity Maddox Fountain for manufacturing of a controlled substance II, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Barbara Sport Shoemaker for manufacturing of a controlled substance II;
• William Jesse Henley for manufacturing of a controlled substance II and felony possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Robert newt Ainsworth for theft of property II and burglary II;
• Damon Dranell Magwood for distribution of a controlled substance; and
• Christopher W. Stokes for receiving stolen property I.
Not all cases on the docket will be heard in March.
