Opp’s varsity boys baseball team beat Elba 11-1 in five innings Monday night.

Jantzen Flowers struck out three batters in two innings, Dane Buckelew struck out six batters in two innings; and Russell Mosley struck out one batter in the last inning.

Drew Smith was 2-for-3; Thomas Weed was 3-for-4; and Flowers was 2-for-3.

Opp improves to 16-7 overall, and will play host to Geneva Thursday night in an area contest. The first pitch is at 5 p.m.
