Looking for something to do today?
• The second annual Walk for a Cure will be held today at the Beef O’Brady’s Parking lot at 9 a.m.
The walk will begin at Beef O’Brady’s and go through downtown to the First Baptist Church and back.
• Pull out the hula hoops and get ready to swing your hips, at the Comfort Care Hospice Hula Hoop for a Cure event today on the Square.
Registration begins at 1 p.m. and the contest begins at 1:45 p.m. Cost is $5 per contestant.
• The Fight Like A Kid benefit car show/ bake sale for a 7-year-old leukemia patient, will be at Tractor Supply Co. today from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• The Covington Cowgirls Drill Team is saddling up for the St. Jude’s Trail Ride set for today at 9 a.m. at Geneva State Forest Lake.
