There are bound to be some women checking the dashes and glove compartments of their husband’s trucks today, after the winning Andy Bucks ticket was drawn last night, and it was revealed that the person holding the lucky ticket made his or her purchase at the Andalusia Farmer’s Coop.

The winning ticket number is 366517, and the first winner in the shop locally promotion likely made his purchase on Oct. 1, as the number is only a few digits higher than a known Oct. 1 purchase there.

If that ticket is presented at city hall within the next 30 days, the winner will receive $1,000 in “Andy Bucks” to be spent with participating merchants. If the prize is not claimed, it will be rolled over, and the next winner will receive $2,000 in Andy Bucks.

Participating merchants include Ansley Place, Barrow’s Furniture, Beef O’ Brady’s, Brooks Hardware, Christopher’s, Darby’s, David’s Catfish , Delta Lighting, Andalusia Farmer’s Co-Op, Harold’s Furnter, Ireland Trailer, Lee’s Samauri, Mary Kay Consultants, Pale Moon Yarns, Singer’s, Sporting Lifestyles, Two Guys Pies, Walker Business, Ward & Co., and Yo’ Cravin.

The next drawing will be on Tues., Dec. 3.
