The Andalusia Chamber Music Society is bringing an outdoor brass quintet to Springdale Estate on Sun., Oct. 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. for a one-hour performance.

“Each member of the quintet is a professional musician associated with the Pensacola Symphony,” said Dr. Herbert Riedel, a member of the local music society.

The program will feature works of Bach, Beethoven, Bernstein, Ellington and others, he said.

“This will be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon on the beautiful grounds of Springdale listening to both classical and contemporary pieces.”

Included in the quintet are Dale Riegle and Jonathan Martin on trumpet; Stuart Kinney, horn; Bret Barrow, trombone; and Wess Hillman, bass trombone.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for students, and are available at LBW Community College president’s office in Andalusia, Ansley Place, Harold’s Furniture and Brooks Hardware.
