Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Knowles of Red Level announce the engagement of their daughter, Summer, to Don Jackson of River Falls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Buster Jackson of River Falls.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Dot Lumpkin and the late Harry Lumpkin of Andalusia. She is the paternal granddaughter of the Mr. and Mrs. Tom Knowles of Red Level.

She earned a nursing degree from Reid State Technical College and is currently employed as a patient care representative at LHC HomeCare in Andalusia.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Grey Gantt of Andalusia. He is the paternal grandson of Hazel Scruggs of Andalusia and the late Thomas Jackson, also of Andalusia.

The couple will exchange vows on Sat., Oct. 12, 2013, at Springdale Estate in Andalusia.
