In junior varsity action, AHS fell 15-25, 11-25.

Opp regrouped after falling 21-25 to Pleasant Home in the first set, and blasted its way to a 25-21, 25-13, 25-15 regular-season victory over the Lady Eagles Thursday night.

“They’re really good,” PHS coach Jerry Davis said.

In other action, Straughn lost 2-1 to New Brockton, but beat Daleville 2-1 (25-27, 28-26, 15-4).
