Andalusia residents looking to head north may want to exercise caution when traveling on I-65 between I-459 and U.S. 31.

Construction signs announcing the construction of the road were placed Monday. The plans for the reconstruction include new concrete, rebuilt ramps and lights will be added.

The project, covering a 2.3-mile stretch of road, will cost an estimated $21 million and is expected to be completed by December 16.
