At least two new principals will be named at Tuesday’s Covington County Board of Education meeting.
Superintendent Terry Holley said Thursday that the board will hire principals for Straughn High School and Fleeta Jr. High, as well as a federal programs coordinator and a school counselor at Red Level High School.
The SHS principal position became open when current principal Shannon Driver was named the system’s new superintendent. His first day on the job will be Monday.
Fleeta Jr. High principal Roger McLain is retiring.
The day’s meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the central office, located on C.C. Baker Avenue in Andalusia.
