Andalusia shot a 675 and finished in third place at the Blue-Gray Invitational Golf Tournament in Montgomery Tuesday.

“On the first day (Feb. 28), there was a lot of wind and rain that wreaked havoc on us,” AHS golf coach Marshall Locke said. “On the second day, it was cool and windy, and we finally got our legs under us.

“We shot better as a team,” he said. “Our goal is to be perfect.”

Andalusia’s best scorer at the tournament, Josh Atkinson, shot an 82 on the first day, and 77 on the second day to lead the Bulldogs.

“It was a great tournament,” Locke said.
