Buddy and Pam Brannon of Andalusia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Ann Brannon, to Mike Heid.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Thaxton and Janice Brannon and the late Cliff and Sybil Meredith of Andalusia.

She is a 2001 graduate of Andalusia High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans. She currently works as a sales manager for the W Hotels in New Orleans.

The groom is the son of Chuck and Judy Heid of Erie, Pa.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Pennsylvania State University and has a graduate degree in advertising from the University of Texas. He is currently employed as an associate creative director for Peter Myer Advertising in New Orleans.

The couple will wed June 8, 2013, in New Orleans at a family ceremony under the oaks in Audubon Park.
