With heartfelt gratitude, the United Voices of Western Inspirational Singers (UVOWIS) thanks you with uplifted hearts for your support and hospitality during our 2013 Southern Tour. All of us were touched by your kindness and warm reception.

As you know, UVOWIS is a gospel choir that contributes to the cultural, educational, and social life of its participants. Our purpose is to promote an interest in gospel and inspirational music wherever we are received. The choir had a most memorable time in Andalusia this past February. The word shared through song was very strong for every student in attendance. This tour was a most rewarding experience for us. We feel as though not only the name of Western Illinois University and the diversity of its programs and offerings is now known in Southern Alabama but also the sincerity of our love for God’s people. As our tour was such a success, we are already planning an extended Southern tour for 2014 in which we plan on coming back to Andalusia this time next year!

Our accomplishment would not have been possible without your support. Please accept our sincere appreciation for your support and please convey our admiration and thanks to each of your committee members and chairs for top-notch service. We know that providing for such a large group is a difficult task, and you all are to be applauded for making each of us feel special. We will forever remember the beautiful and kind people of Andalusia, Ala.
