It’s that time of year again – kindergarten registration.

And Opp Elementary School will kick theirs off today.

According to Opp City Schools officials, parents should bring a certified birth certificate, social security card and immunization record to Principal Brett Kinsaul’s office between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

“We ask them to pre-register before the screening,” Kinsaul said. “It just speeds up the process on the day of the screening.”

Students must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 to enroll in this years’ class.

Screening are scheduled for April 2 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and April 4 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Registration forms may be picked up at OES or at local daycares.

If you have any questions, call the school office at 493-6031.
