Wilcox Central edged Andalusia 54-48 to close out regular-season area play on Friday night at AHS.

Jalen Cross led the Bulldogs with 14 points. Phillip James scored 11 points and Same Byrd had 10 points.

Wilcox Central’s Freddie Smit had 14 points and Makarius Chapman had 12 points.

In girls action, the Lady Bulldogs picked up a 58-51 victory over WCHS.

Tylesha Malcolm had 30 points, 16 rebounds, two blocks and three assists to lead AHS.

Laticia Crittenden had 11 points and Alexis Lawrence added six points and four rebounds to pace the Lady Bulldogs.

Andalusia hosts T.R. Miller on Monday.
