Star-News Facebook friends said they’d be making a trip to town to return everything from birdseed to their children Wednesday.

Historically, Dec. 26 has been the biggest day for holiday returns, so we asked our readers, after the wrapping paper cleared, what they planned to take back.

Ashley Meredith said, “Nabi…it didn’t work.” Nabi is a learning system that promotes education skills and is especially designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Joe Lee of Opp said he wished he could return the Christmas Day weather.

“I’m taking back a(n) iPod touch case, because it won’t fit the iPod, but I think I’ll wait a day or so first,” said Ashton and Michael Owens. “I’m gonna let the crowd calm down.”

Glenn Padgett said, “Bird seed I got for our outside buddies, and it was already eaten by bugs. But not to worry, one hour in the return line, and they are all set.”

Alan Sanders said jeans and a chirping key chain needed to go back from whence they came.

Theresa Adams said, “The kids…joking!” However, for those parents that are ready to send their kids back, take note: School will be back in session on Jan. 3 for all students in Covington County.

And last, but not least, Aaron Norris said he’d like to return his Star-News subscription, but we checked – he didn’t get one for Christmas.
