The Battle of Murder Creek, the annual battle between W.S. Neal and T.R. Miller, finished fourth out of four national finalists in online voting in USA Today’s contest to crown the nation’s top high school football rivalry.

The game between the Eagles and Tigers received 223,000 votes compared to 1.76 million votes received by the Missouri rivalry of Brookfield vs. Marceline.
