Some 160 children still need presents through Andalusia’s Community Christmas.
Mattie Freeney, a member of Civitan, who was responsible for overseeing the drop-off of packages this past weekend, said they still need people to go out and shop for the children.
“Some people have been turning in money,” she said. “We have right around 160 children we’re going to have to shop for between now and Dec. 17.”
Originally, more than 600 children signed up for this year’s Community Christmas and Angels are available at local businesses throughout town.
