Excel finished Friday night with 592 rushing yards on the way to defeating Red Level, 42-14, in a region game at Red Level.

Red Level’s Raheem Bullock scored both touchdowns for the Tigers (1-2, 0-2 in Class 2A, Region 1). He scored on an 11-yard run with 6:08 left in the second quarter, and also scored on an 83-yard kickoff return with 2:00 left in the game.

Excel (2-1, 2-0) led 20-6 at halftime and opened the second half by recovering its own onside kick, sparking its offense the rest of the way.

Red Level’s Desmond Jones finished with 11 rushes for 61 yards, and also had a strong night on defense as he finished with 18 tackles (nine solo tackles) and forced a fumble.

Red Level travels to face Millry next Friday.
