Andalusia’s Corinthian Sims, Jacard Townsend and Quayshaun Denson shot in double digits Monday night to help lead the Bulldogs to a 62-46 road victory over Dothan tonight.

Sims led Andalusia with 22 points; Townsend added 16; Denson had 14.

The Bulldogs took a 17-7 lead after the first quarter, and held a 30-24 lead at halftime.

At the break, Denson led with 10 points and Townsend had eight.

Andalusia added 16 points compared to Dothan’s 13 by the end of the third quarter to take a 46-37 lead leading into the final eight minutes of the contest.

In other action Monday night, the Lady Bulldogs fell 40-37; and the B-team boys won 37-25.

Alexis Horton led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points and Shi’Amber Townsend added nine.

For the B-team, Nigel Jones had 14 points and Sam Byrd had 10.

The Bulldogs will play host to Enterprise, another Class 6A school this Thursday night. The B-team starts at 4:30 p.m.
