Pleasant Home coach Robert Bradford said his team made progress last weekend, and hopes the Eagles are ready for Kinston tonight.
Last week, the Eagles (1-5, 0-4 in Class 1A, Region 2) lost to No. 3 Brantley 42-0.
“Going back to last week, I was really encouraged by our offensive line and our running backs,” Bradford said. “They did a good job of being able to move the ball and sustain drives against Brantley. That’s something we’ve never really done in the past — being able to line up and run right at them.”
Bradford said Kinston is a good match-up for his team.
“It should be a lot better match up for us,” he said.
Bradford said the game plan would stay relatively the same this week.
“We’ll definitely try to mix it up and get everybody off balance.”
