LBW Community College will hold two orientation sessions with Chef Michael Whelan for students enrolling in the new culinary arts

program. The sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mon., Aug. 13, 2012, in the Jeff Bishop Student Center Classroom at LBWCC in Andalusia.

These sessions will help determine course meeting dates and times. All interested students, including dual enrollment students, are encouraged to attend one of the two meeting times.

Students enrolling in the culinary arts program are expected to register for all offered courses for fall term, with classes to be held at LBWCC in Andalusia and Springdale. The cost for program classes is $132 per credit hour for tuition and fees.

People interested in taking continuing education courses will need to register for those when they become available.
