The Straughn Lady Tigers routed Headland Thursday night in their home opener.

The Lady Tigers won 25-8, 25-14, 25-18 to take a 3-0 area lead.

“I feel like the girls played a complete game,” SHS coach Lori Kinsaul said. “I’m really pleased with the outcome with it being an area game.

The Lady Tigers are now 4-0, and 3-0 in Class 4A, Area 3, and will host Geneva on Tues., Aug. 31.
