ALAN SCOT ROBBINS

Alan Scot Robbins, 46, of Florala, passed away Aug. 15, 2010.

He served in the U. S. Army, was former mayor of Florala, a member of Fidelity Lodge 685 in Florala and a deacon and lifetime member of Smyrna Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Maraman Robbins; sons, Evan Scot Robbins and Jace Alan Robbins, all of Florala; mother, Helen (George) Bonner of Crestview, Fla.; brother, Ben (Debbie) Robbins of Florala; sisters, Donna (John) Glover, Amy Hope (Jon) Tulloch and Misty Henderson Taylor, all of Birmingham; father and mother-in-law, Van and Pat Maraman of Samson; stepmother, Mary Robbins of Florala; sisters-in-law, Tammy (George) Blewitt of Belmar, N.J., and Gene (Scott) Harward of Ocala, Fla.; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by father, Vernon Robbins, and grandparents, Walter and Ethel Robbins and James T. and Thelma Hughes, all of Florala.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 26, at Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Holtz officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home with interment in the Smyrna Cemetery.

MORGAN WILLIS COLQUETT

Morgan Willis Colquett, 88, of Opp, died Mon., Aug. 23, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm today, Wed., Aug. 25, , from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.

The Rev. Wayne Sharpe and the Rev. Donald Hall will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home in Opp directing. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Opp.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to service time.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela (Randy) Nelson; sons, Joey (Connie) Colquett and Kent (Cindy) Colquett; brother, David Colquett; sisters, Eloise (Wayne) Northey and Annie Jo (Earl) Farmer; special companion, Gladys Adams; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
