Crossover appreciates food donations

Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Crossover Ministry family, I want to express our appreciation for the outpouring of support the community has shown to the U.S. Postal employees’ food drive. We also appreciate the significant efforts of the postal employees, as they distributed bags and collected the donated product.
Crossover was the surprise recipient of many hundreds of pounds of food from the drive, just as we are starting our next class with almost dozens of folks to feed daily. Our pantry is overflowing, and our great Crossover Cooks volunteers will no doubt stretch this supply of food to provide literally thousands of meals in the coming months.
Your support in this effort is just one more in a long list of things that our community has done to provide for the folks who come through the Crossover Program. We are not always successful in reforming participants, and they don’t all develop the close relationship with our Lord that we desire, but if they spend even one day at Crossover, they have to acknowledge that this community loves them, because of the outpouring of support they see. So, we appreciate your part in this effort. May you be blessed for blessing Crossover!
Sincerely,
Todd Sasser
