The Opp City Council declared four vehicles and a backhoe surplus at Tuesday night’s meeting.

City clerk Connie Smith said the city will now seek for bids on a 1987 Ford Ranger, 1996 Jeep, 2007 Ford Crown Victoria a 1990 Chevrolet and a 10-year-old Kobelco excavator.

Monday night was also the first time the new interpreter, Connie Lewis, provided sign language interpretation for the meeting.
