The kickoff time for the 2012 Cowboys Classic football game between Alabama and Michigan has been set.

The Crimson Tide will face the Wolverines at 7 p.m. CST on Sat., Sept. 1, with ABC Sports televising the game nationally.

Alabama will be the home team, and Michigan will be the visitors.

UA and UM have played against each other in three previous meetings. Alabama beat Michigan 35-34 in overtime during the 2000 Orange Bowl. However, the Wolverines lead the series 2-1-0.

The game will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas.
