Together with their families, Heather Shirey and Brad Metcalf are pleased to announce the engagement and their forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael Shirey and Sharon McVay, both of Andalusia. She is the maternal granddaughter of Shirley Godwin and the late Terry Ray Godwin and the paternal granddaughter of Marie Thomasson, all of Andalusia.

She is currently employed at the Andalusia Utilities Board.

The prospective groom is the son of Thea Childers and the grandson of Grace Metcalf, both of Opp.

He is currently employed with TransOcean.

The wedding is scheduled for Sat., June 26, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Babbie Town Hall.
