• The Luncheon Pilot Club of Andalusia’s “Square Picnic” will be held at the beautiful Court square today, Thurs. April 19 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

You will have a choice of delicious homemade chicken salad, pimento cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches. Your lunch will include a bag of chips, dessert and a drink of your choice. The price of the lunch is $6.

• The Covington Blind and Low Vision Outreach Group will meet from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Dixon Room at the Andalusia Public Library.

• Covington County Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m.

• An airport open house titled “Evening at the Airport” will be held tonight, Thurs., April 19, from 5:30 until 7:30 in the main terminal.

There will be several guest speakers, including local and state leaders and Ft. Rucker leadership.

Door prizes will be given away including at least four airplane rides around Covington County.
