MONTGOMERY (AP) — Montgomery City Council member Martha Roby and tea party activist Rick Barber will meet in a runoff in the race for the Republican nomination in the 2nd congressional district in southeast Alabama.
Roby and Barber finished ahead of state school board member Stephanie Bell and former U.S. Marine John “Fighting Beau” McKinney to make the runoff.
They’re seeking the chance to challenge Democratic Rep. Bobby Bright in the fall.
