Big Mac lovers everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief as the doors to the Andalusia McDonald’s store are set to reopen Wednesday.
Operations manager Mike Sanicola announced the reopening earlier this month.
Business was halted at the site in mid-March.
It has taken nearly three months to demolish, rebuild and outfit the new building.
The new facility features a double drive thru and modern looking interior and exterior.
It will not feature a play area for children; however, a “coffee corner” has been included for the morning faithful.
During its closure, McDonald’s employees had the opportunity to work at other McDonald’s locations in Luverne and Enterprise.
Now, an estimated 80 employees have been hired to operate the new local restaurant.
