An after-prom party in Florala landed four adults and two juveniles in hot water early Friday morning.

Lt. Lance Price of the Alabama Beverage Control Board said agents were called to the party on Ashley Lane, located outside of Lockhart, after sheriff’s deputies received complaints of underage drinking.

“At the scene, there were several underage people drinking,” Price said. “When we arrived, everyone fled. We were able to catch six, but not the others.”

Arrested were Levi Tyler Dukes, 18; Cody Allen Cole, 20; Michael W. Kelly, 18; and Sean M. Stewart, 18. Each were charged with minor in possession of alcohol, held on a $3,000 bond and later released.

Identities of the two juveniles were not released.

“I think everyone has gotten their proms out of the way, and the night ended without anyone getting hurt, which is always a good thing,” Price said.

Price said there were no reports of underage drinking from those attending proms held Thursday night in Andalusia, Straughn or Pleasant Home.
