RGR raised $10K for community

I’d like to take a moment to thank our wonderful community for once again making the 29th Annual Red Garter Revue “Live from the Red Carpet” a resounding success. The production just isn’t possible without the incredible talent and generosity that Andalusia is so blessed to possess. To the cast, our fantastic audiences, our wonderful sponsors and all of the businesses that share their products and services with our organization, THANK YOU. With your help, the Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club is able to put money directly back into the hands of the teachers, students and many other people in need in Covington County. In fact, this year’s event raised almost $10,000, and every penny will thankfully go straight back in to our community.
We may not have Target or Starbucks, in fact, according to Buford we don’t even have a Taco Bell, but what we lack in “stuff” we more than make up for in talent, creativity, culture, love and charity.
Again, thank you. We look forward to entertaining you for another 29 years.
With much love and appreciation,
Katie King, Chair
