Due to the flurry of cold weather in south Alabama, the Andalusia Bulldogs will host Thomasville tonight in area competition.
Originally, the Bulldogs were supposed to travel to Thomasville for their third area game tonight, but that has changed because Thomasville is “without utilities,” Andalusia coach Richard Robertson said.
“We hate to do it at such short notice, but what are we going to do if we can’t play (today),” he said. “We’re going to have two area games this week at home and two area games on the road next week.”
This Friday, Andalusia will host Clarke County. Next Tues., Jan. 19, the Bulldogs will travel to Evergreen to play Hillcrest, and then on Jan. 22, the Bulldogs will travel to Thomasville to make up for tonight’s change.
Tonight’s games will start at 4 p.m. with the B-team.
“We want to give Thomasville the chance to get on the road as soon as possible,” Robertson said.
