Police are seeking the vandals responsible for causing more than $3,500 in damages Thursday at Andalusia High School.
APD Sgt. Tim Stallworth said it is believed at least two suspects broke in through a window, threw bricks through others, and kicked in the doors of the principal’s office, storage rooms and the library sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
“The damage is substantial,” Stallworth said. “It’s appalling someone would do this to school property.”
He estimated the damages are between $3,500 and $5,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call the APD at 222-1155 or contact school resource officer Jackie Woods at the high school.
