Alabama among flu states

As the winter-that-hasn’t continues, the flu has been scarce.
But the seasonal infectious disease is beginning to pick up.
In the most recent national survey, Alabama and 12 other states had local-level influenza activity for the week ended Jan. 28, meaning flu outbreaks had appeared within a certain region of the state. That was up from eight states the week before, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
An additional six states had regional activity, meaning flu outbreaks had happened in multiple regions of a state. This was up from four states the week before.
