U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) will join the residents of Covington County for a county visit at 2 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 4. The county visit, which is open to the public, will take place at the conference center on the Andalusia Campus of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.

Sen. Shelby will address the legislative agenda for the second session of the 112th Congress as well as important issues facing the nation and the state of Alabama.

This will be Sen. Shelby’s 1,685th county visit since being elected to serve the state of Alabama in the U.S. Senate. As part of his commitment to Alabamians, he holds a meeting in each county every year.
