Longtime English Instructor Bev Smith will be remembered in a celebration of his life and work at 2 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 28, at the Martha and Solon Dixon Center for the Perform-ing Arts on the Andalusia campus of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. Smith, 72, died in November.

Friends, former students, colleagues—all who knew and loved Bev—are invited to join with his family in honoring the memory of this great teacher. A reception will follow, during which the family will greet visitors.
