Evelyn Y. Peoples

Evelyn Y. Peoples, 69, of River Falls died Wednesday, August 28, 2002 in Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Fla. hospital.

Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Fielding of Chipley, Fla. and Peggy Ann Pettis and husband, Ross of Wausau, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Thara E. Peoples; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Shumaker, one brother, Charles J. Shumaker; one sister, Naomi I. Foust; one half sister, Mona Curtis, two half brothers, Jack Shumaker and Homer Shumaker.

Evelyn Y. Peoples worked for Covington Electric for 42 plus years. She retired in January 2001.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at River Falls Baptist Church with Rev. B. Brady and Pastor D. Harn officiating.
