Although nothing is certain yet, McDonalds officials are weighing their options to give the fast food restaurant a face-lift.

“As far as we know nothing is determined yet,” said Operations Manager Mike Sanicola.

Sanicola said officials are debating whether to tear down the existing building and start from scratch or just revamp the existing building.

“We don’t know the extent of the reconstruction,” Sanicola said. “The building is 35 or 36 years old.”

If officials decide to tear down and start over, Sanicola said the new facility could look much like the new McDonalds in Troy and Enterprise.

Sanicola said details are still being sorted out on a date to begin the process.

“I don’t have a date or anything,” he said.
