Red Level’s KJ Lawrence and Troy Nolen finished in double figures as the Tigers beat Opp 59-51 in regular season action Tuesday night.

Lawrence led all Tigers with 17 points, and Nolen added 13 points for RLS in the win, which improves the Tigers’ record to 10-7 overall.

RLS led 12-11 after the first period, and 30-19 at half time. The Tigers outscored the Bobcats 17-9 in the third period.

Dee Tolbert added nine points, and Spencer Stallworth had six points for the Tigers.

JT Hall, Raheem Bullock and Justin Maddox had four points each for RLS. William Crawford had two points.

Opp’s Tyler Ferguson and Zyki Wade had 11 points each, and Tavis Stoudemire had 10 points.

In girls action, Opp beat Red Level 55-11. The Lady Bobcats led 35-4 at half time.

Red Level will play host to Zion Chapel tomorrow night to begin area play. Opp will play host to Pike County on Friday night in area action.

Tip off for both teams on both days is at 4:30 p.m. with the B-team.
