Straughn indoor track team heads to state on Friday

Straughn High School added an indoor track and field team for the 2024-25 school year.
Led by head coach John Evers, Straughn is currently the only school with a team in Covington County. Nine Tiger athletes will compete at the state meet on Friday, Jan. 31, at the Birmingham Crossplex.
Team members include Kaitlynn Bybee, Trinity Cator, Faithe Eib, Gabbi Poston, Hannah Poston, Ean Robbins, Avery Smith, Mary Walker, and Lilly Weeks.
