Mr. John Wesley Thompkins, 68, of Andalusia, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at Opp Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 10 a.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Sharpe officiating the service. Special music will be provided by Marc Lambert accompanied by Shirley Lambert. The interment will follow in Good News Cemetery in Rose Hill. Visitation was on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Graham Thompkins; one son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Trinity Thompkins of Andalusia; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sheila and Robert Williams of Andalusia and Sandra James of Northport; three nephews, Dr. Loren James, Wesley James, and Tyler James; four nieces, Marlee Bass, Dawn Cate, Candy Smith and Mandy Daugherty.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Ora Thompkins; a brother, Ronnie Thompkins; his sister, Brenda Thompkins Fuqua; and nephew, Rob “Robbie” Williams.

Pallbearers will be Marc Lambert, Travis Blocker, Bobby Spurlin, Daniel Cate, Bryan Bass, and Mark Kell.
