Mr. Alex Kendall Taylor, age 36 of Robertsdale, died unexpectedly on Jan. 9, 2025. Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2 p.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Tim Trent will officiate. Interment will be in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will start at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Alex grew up in Andalusia, graduating from Andalusia High School in 2006. He loved sports, playing baseball and basketball for the Bulldogs. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout while a member of Troop 46 in Andalusia. After graduating from Andalusia High School, Alex attended the University of Alabama where he obtained a degree in finance in 2010. While at Alabama he was a member of Sigma Nu social fraternity.

Some of the best times of his life were spent in Panama City at the beach house with his family and friends. This was even more important to him as he introduced his daughter, his pride and joy, to the beach with all of its wonders.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Lucy Taylor, Evelyn Cassady Murphree, and Adrien C. Cassady, all of Andalusia.

Alex leaves behind his parents, Kendall and Patsy Taylor; his daughter, Collins Elizabeth Taylor; his sister Leigh Taylor Perry; his nephews Garrett and Dylan Perry, all of Gulf Shores, Alabama; his aunts and uncles Fred (Gail) Taylor of Crystal River, Florida; Mary Susan (Micky) Underwood of Valley, Alabama, as well as other extended family members.

Flowers are appreciated but charitable donations may be made to the Legacy of Hope in Birmingham at the online site – legacyofhopefoundation.org in Alex’s memory.
