Mr. Aubrey “Junior” Boutwell, 74, of Andalusia passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at UAB Hospital.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, 2 p.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Frankie McVay officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Mr. Boutwell is survived by his wife, Mary Boutwell; two children, Glenn (Lynn) Boutwell and Melissa (Steve) Fruzan; grandchildren, Amber (Alex) Johnston, Dalton (Mackenzie) Boutwell, Jordin (Haley) Boutwell; great-grandchildren, Holden Johnston, Hamden Johnston, Dani Boutwell, Dax Boutwell, Piper Boutwell, and Willow Boutwell; one brother, Johnny (Lou) Boutwell; and two nephews, Scotty (Donna) Boutwell and DeWayne (Leigh) Boutwell; and many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Minnie Lee Boutwell; a sister, Dorothy Marie McCollough; nephew, John Nathan Boutwell; and adopted “parents,” Tom and Dot Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at Fishing 4 Heroes, a charitable organization that offers fishing experiences for veterans.
