The Andalusia Police Department has charged two people with drug-related offenses after finding narcotics during a execution of a search warrant.

Police Chief Paul Hudson said the APD executed a search warrant on Packer Avenue on Dec. 12, and located marijuana and Xanax.

Larry Anderson and LaShay Brundidge, both of Andalusia, were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana first and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were booked into the Covington County Jail on a $23,000 bond.
