The Daughters of the American Revolution Old Three Notch Chapter sponsored a countywide coloring contest for second, third, fourth, fifth, and seventh grade students this fall.
All city and county schools were invited to participate. The Old Three Notch Chapter received over 150 entries and had local artists judge all submissions. The winners were displayed at the DAR booth during the week of the Kiwanis Covington County Fair in October.
“On behalf of our DAR chapter, we would like to thank each student who participated in our coloring contest this year. We would like to congratulate all the winners for a job well done and extend a special thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s coloring contest possible,” DAR Old Three Notch Regent Carol-Ann Mullins said.
