The Angel of Hope for Covington County will hold its third annual Day of Hope Holiday Market at the Angel of Hope Garden at Robinson Park in Andalusia on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Over 50 vendors will be on hand at the event including food, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor home décor, gifts, and more. Live music will be performed by Connor Sowards from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Riley Shaffer from 11:30 a.m. to noon, and Retroactive from noon until 3 p.m.

“We are excited about our third Day of Hope this year and look forward to welcoming everyone to the Angel of Hope Garden. The angel is very special to my family, and we appreciate all of those who have helped us in bringing it to Covington County. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at our event,” Angel of Hope Organizer Carol Moore said.

Unlike the previous two years, a bake auction will not be held before Thanksgiving. The auction will be moved to the spring around Easter.

“This time of year is extremely busy, and there are so many holiday markets, school fundraisers, church sales, and more where desserts can be purchased. Therefore, we have decided to try a different time of year: Easter. The date has not been confirmed, but you will be the first to know. Be thinking of bunny cakes, cookies, egg-shaped cake pops, and more to be shared with your friends and family during this most special time of the year,” Moore said.

All proceeds from the Day of Hope will go to the Covington County Child Advocacy Center.
