The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Veterans Parade on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m.
All veterans and their family members are invited to ride in the parade on floats prepared by the chamber. Lineup begins at First Baptist Church from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. with a helicopter fly over made possible by Pilot Nick Gatewood, Flight Paramedic, Kent Wilson, and Flight Nurse, Steve Marcotte.
The parade will end at City Hall where there will be a ceremony at Veterans Park. All are invited to participate in this free parade. There is no charge for anyone. The parade is open to walkers, bikers, golf carts, trucks, trailers and floats.
“Let’s join together to show our Veterans our support and gratitude,” AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes said.
If you would like to participate in the parade, call the chamber at 334-222-2030.
