SEE YOU AT THE FAIR: Kiwanis Covington County Fair now open

Members of the Andalusia Kiwanis Club and the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce celebrate the opening of the 2024 Kiwanis Covington County Fair with a ribbon cutting Monday night.

The Andalusia Kiwanis Club was represented by Fair Board Chairman Don Cotton, Kiwanians Barbara Pilotte, Thomas Johnson, Rick Clifton, Mindy Barton, Glen Powell, Sharon Owens, Jeremy Wolff, and Hunter Grimes.

The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce was represented by Executive Director Mellisa King and Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, both right of ribbon, Vice President Ginny Grimes, and board members Garret Bowers, Jason Jessie, and Michelle Wunsh.

This year’s CCF beauty queens are Miss Covington County Fair 2024 Alyssa Bozeman, cutting the ribbon; Baby Miss Malaiyah Burnett, Wee Miss Vivienne Lamoine, Toddler Miss Keaton Shepard, Tiny Miss Neelie Ann Hester, Petite Miss Ella Rae Miles, Little Miss Layal June Dye, Preteen Miss Lyric Delilah King, Junior Miss Kali-Rae Dozier, and Teen Miss Trinite Bryant.

Others on hand were Andalusia City Clerk John Thompson, Covington County Commission Chairman Greg White, and Dist. 4 Commissioner Tommy McGaha.
